One month's subscription to several of the leading newspapers of the Continent of Europe has been received by the Library of the Union through the generosity of one of this year's Union members who wishes to remain anonymous. The papers are the following:
Frankfurt--Frankfurter Zeitung:
Geneva--Geneva Journal.
Madrid--Madrid Impareial.
Milan--Corriere della Sera.
Paris--Le Temps.
Vienna--Neue Freie Preese.
If the interest and demand for them is sufficient, the donor will undertake to continue the subscriptions for the whole year.
Mr. Milton E. Lord, librarian at the Union, feels this to be a valuable opportunity. Blue-books have therefore been placed in several parts of the building the lobby, the library, and the newspaper reading room wherein men may express their interest in the action by signing their names.
