One hundred candidates have been retained as a result of the Glee Club's trials which were held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Regular practice for the successful candidates and old men will start on Monday, October 3rd, at 6.45 in the Music Building. Work will commence immediately in training the club for its first concert since its return from Europe. The concert will be given under the auspices of the Boston Music School Settlement at Symphony Hall, on the night of October 28.

At this concert Mary Garden of the Chicago Opera Company will make her only appearance of the year in Boston. Mary Garden, in addition to her singing, is new managing the Chicago Opera Company. The program at the concert on October 28 will consist of those pieces sung on the European trip which received the heartiest approval from the public.
