1924 TO CHOOSE EXERCISE

Must Sign Up for Some Form of Athletics by Noon Today--Hygiene Will Last Only First Half Year

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In order to fulfill their Physical Training requirements all members of the class of 1925 must indicate their choice of exercise not later than noon today at Wadsworth 6, the second floor of Wadsworth House, in the southwest corner of the Yard. In addition to regular Physical Training seven forms of exercise are open to Freshmen at present--football, baseball, track, cross-country, crew, soccer, and lacrosse.

At a meeting in the New Lecture Hall on Thursday, regulations in regard to Physical Training were explained to the Freshman class. All men, not excepting those now engaged in some form of athletics, were required to indicate their first, second, and third choices for Physical Training sections. Four sections will be held during the afternoon, and one in the morning this year. In addition men were required to sign up for Hygiene. There will be two periods a week, one on Wednesday at 1.30 and the other on Thursday at the same time; every Freshman must select one of these periods. If some men are unable to be present at either one of these regular times, a special morning section will probably be formed. An innovation this year is the decision to continue Hygiene only throughout the first half year.
