In the first round of the Massachusetts State Squash Racquets Tournament, Malcolm Bradlee '22, captain of the University Squash Racquets team, H. C. Janin '22, and D. McK. Key '22, won their matches and advanced to the second round. Captain Bradlee won from L. A. Eldridge '21 by default, while Janin defeated R. Poor, Union Boat Club, 15-9, 17-15, 17-15, and Key beat W. F. Howe, Union Boat Club, 15-10, 12-15, 15-10, 11-15, 15-8. The scores of the other University players were as follows: C. C. Peabody, Union Boat Club, defeated M. P. Baker '22, 15-4, 15-3, 15-13: Harold Plimpton, B. A. A., defeated F. W. Crooker '22, 15-6, 15-13, 15-10: and W. I. Badger Jr., Union Boat Club, defeated E. M. Hinkle '23, 15-12, 15-7, 15-10.
