The competitions have opened for the Susan Anthony Potter Prizes on Comparative Literature. A prize of $100 will be given for the best thesis written by a student (graduate or undergraduate) in the University or Radcliffe College on any subject in the field of comparative literature approved by the Chairman of the Department. The other prize of $50 will be awarded for the best essay by a University--undergraduate on a subject in the field of Comparative Literature concerning the Middle Ages or the Renaissance. Competitors for these prizes should submit their theses to Professor G. L. Kittredge '82, chairman of the Department of Comparative Literature on or before May 1, 1921.
There is also a Susan Anthony Potter Prize of $75 for the best essay by an undergraduate on a subject dealing with the Spanish Literature of the Golden Age. Manuscripts are due on or before May 1st at University 4, addressed to Professor J. D. M. Ford '94.
