INSTRUMENTAL CLUBS PLAN LONG SERIES OF CONCERTS

Follow Policy of Playing Light Music--Six Concerts Already Given, Five More Scheduled

The University Instrumental Clubs have announced a series of five concerts for the winter and spring, and plans for several others are being made. Six concerts have already been given this year. Since their separation from the Glee Club, the Instrumental Clubs have been following an opposite policy from that of the Glee Club, the programs consisting for the most part of lighter music and college songs.

The concert program follows: February 19 there will be a concert at Rogers Hall School in Lowell, under the auspices of the Lowell Harvard Club. On March 5 there is to be a concert and dance at Brattle Hall, Cambridge. On March 29 the Clubs will give a concert at Fall River, Mass., under the auspices of the Harvard Alumni of that city. April 5 there is to be a concert at Watertown, Mass., in aid of the Scholarship Fund of the Harvard Club of Watertown. On April 9 the Clubs will play at a dance given for them by the Harvard Alumni of Providence, R. I. This concert and dance at Providence is an established custom, this being the third year it has been held.

In addition to these concerts, plans are being made for a concert on March 12 at the Neighborhood Club in Quincy, Mass. The Clubs are also arranging to play before a gathering of Vassar, Wellesley, and Mt. Holyoke graduates in Concord, N. H., in aid of the Endowment Funds of these colleges. A concert and dance at the Hasty Pudding Club on April 15 is being planned as the last event of the club's season.
