TRACK MEN HAVE EASY DAY

HOLD TIME TRIALS TOMORROW

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Because of the cold weather yesterday afternoon there was no fast work for the relay team candidates. Instead Coach Donovan had the men jog around for several laps, and then go in. Coach Farrell had his field event men working out as usual in the cage. Special attention was paid to the high-jumpers and hurdlers.

If the weather becomes milder by tomorrow, time trials will be held for the University mile and two-mile relay teams, and for the Freshman mile relay team. This will be the first real opportunity for the coaches to get an idea of the men's relative ability.

An invitation has been received to enter the American Legion Games which are to be held in the 22nd Regiment Armory, New York City, on March 11. According to present plans a team will be entered in both the two-mile and the mile relay races. Entries may also be made in the sprints. These entries are only tentative, being subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee.

The Harvard Interscholastic Track Meet will probably be held in conjunction with the 1924 Yale meet on May 14. As soon as plans have been completed, invitations will be sent to the preparatory schools to enter the various events.
