8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
The outlook for the M. I. T. one-mile relay team which will race the University team at the B. A. A. games on February 5 is very bright. Trials have been held during the past week, and several excellent times have been handed in. Garvin Bawden, former Exeter star, is one of the fastest men on the squad. He was recently timed at 53 2-5 seconds for 450 yards on the board track. Yardley Chittick, who ran the quarter-mile last spring, and Oliver Bardes, who ran on the team which defeated the University at the B. A. A. games last year, are also slated for berths on this year's team. Harry Jonod member of last year's team, and Poole, whom he beat out last year in the trials by 1-5th of a second, are fighting it out for fourth place, with Poole having a little the better of the argument so far.
