The University swimming team will oppose Amherst at 4 o'clock this afternoon at Northampton, and will try to make up for last year's defeat at their hands. There will be a great deal of interest in the clash between Brackett of the University and Damon of Amherst. These men took a victory apiece against each other at the last meeting, the former winning the 100-yard, and the latter the 50. Damon took second place in the 50-yard dash of the National Intercollegiates.

The complete entries for the University follow:

Relay: Gross, Wyman, Thayer, Brackett.

Dive: Boyden, Doherty.

50-Yard: Wyman, Brackett.

220-Yard: Douglass, Dreier or Brackett.

Plunge: Thomas, Rubin.

100-Yard: Gross, Brackett.

At noon the Freshman watermen will leave here to meet the team of Phillips Academy at Andover. Last year this institution had one of the strongest schoolboy teams in the country, and the yearlings will have a tough fight on their hands this afternoon.

The following are the entries:

Relay--Cummings, Delafield, Harris or Whittemore, Potter.

Dive: Spencer, Terrazas.

50-Yard: Delafield, Potter.

200-Yard: Cummings, Whittemore.

Plunge: Carpenter, Zinn.
