With two victories to their credit, the 1924 basketball five will meet Cushing Academy for the third game of the season this afternoon at 4 in the Freshman Gymnasium. The Cushing players have won several games thus far, but it is expected that the Crimson cubs will be able to cope with them successfully, as they showed great speed and drive against the Dartmouth 1924 team last Tuesday. This was the only game in which they have been pressed at all, and they showed their worth convincingly. P. Jenkins is the only member of the Freshman quintet to suffer from last Tuesday's game, so that he will not be in the line-up for today's game.
On Thursday the Freshmen went through a light scrimmage with the second team, but no practice was held yesterday.
