There will be a meeting of the James A. Shannon Post, American Legion, at the Legion room in the Varsity Club, tonight, contrary to yesterday's announcement, at 7.30. Prof. J. B. Conant of the Chemistry Department will speak on the work of the Chemical Warfare Service in developing the offensive side of gas attacks. During the war Prof. Conant was a Major in the Research Division in Gas Warfare. For a large part of the war he was in charge of a section in research work, and later was in charge of the plant at Cleveland, Ohio, where the so-called "American Gas" was being manufactured. The meeting is opened to members and their friends.
