Professor Henri Guy, exchange professor sent by France to the University, has left for New York on the Savoie and will arrive in Cambridge January 25, the Department of Romance Language announced yesterday.
Professor Guy will give a series of lectures in French Monday and Wednesday evenings at 8 o'clock on "L'oeuvre de Pierre Corneille," which will be open to the public. The place and first meeting of this course will be announced later.
Professor Guy is Dean of the Faculty of Letters at the University of Toulouse and is one of the greatest living authorities on French literature of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
