Scott Club Wins Ames Prize

The Scott Club, represented by G. E. McCurdy and R. T. Catterall, declared the winner of the Ames Prize Competition for third year Law men last night, held in Langdell Hall, having defeated L. S. Pillsbury and R. T. Bushnell, members of the George Gray Club.

The case was tried before Justice McClellan Powers of the Supreme Court of Vermont, Chief Justice William Howard Sweetland of the Supreme Court of Rhode Island, and Justice Edward Peter Pierce of the Supreme Court of Massachusetts. Devision was made on a basis of delivery, ability to answer questions of the court, citations of cases and briefs.
