The annual spring trip of the University Glee Club has been abandoned because of the European trip this summer, it was announced yesterday. If by April 1 it seems improbable that the club will be able to raise the $50,000 necessary for this trip, a short tour east of the Alleghenies may be arranged.
There still is a shortage of first tenors in the Glee Club. Any Harvard man with a first tenor voice who will train diligently stands an excellent chance of getting his expenses paid to England and France this summer.
Annual spring elections of members to the club will not be held before May 1 this year.
