Scoring in the final seconds of play, Boston College last night topped the M. I. T. six, 4-3, in a game featured by the most rugged battling yet seem in the new Boston Arena.

Captain Hughes was responsible for two of the B. C. tallies, netting the single score in the second session which broke the tie. Fast skating and stick work, individual brilliance, and smashing play kept excitement high throughout.

Neil McNeil, former St. Francis Xavier star across the border, caged two of the M. I. T. goals, while his brother Dan was the backbone of the M. I. T. offense.
