Last Chance to See French Books

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Today is the last opportunity to view the collection of French bindings from the library of the late M. Monod, which will be on exhibition in the Treasure Room of the Widener Library. The collection, loaned temporarily to the Library, will be split up, as the books have been willed to several different persons. The bindings are all executed by French masters of bookbinding; three of the most beautiful are by Leou Gruell, who founded the Chamber Syndicale, an organization whose members are the best bookbinders in France.
