The Freshman Debating Club is conducting a drive for membership among the members of the class of 1924. From this club will be selected the men who are to participate in the triangular debating meet with Princeton and Yale. The club will held discussion meetings throughout the year. The subjects will be of high general interest, and there will be no compulsory attendance at the meetings. All men interested should hand in their names to R. S. Bowers, James Smith C-20.

The second meeting of the club will be held Tuesday evening, January 28, in the Smith Common Room. R. S. Bowers, elected president at the first meeting, will preside. The topic for discussion will be: "Resolved: That Ireland should immediately be made independent." All men interested are invited to attend.
