TRACK MEN OUT TOMORROW

INTRA-MURAL MEETS SCHEDULED

Candidates for the fall track season of five weeks will report tomorrow at 2.30 o'clock at the Locker Building on Soldiers Field. Coach Eddie Farrell is to be in charge of the work, assisted by Pooch Donovan. The cinder track inside of the Stadium will be available for daily use while the field event men will practice on Soldiers Field and, in bad weather, in the cage. Although the work will, in the main, be for conditioning and developing the men, two meets, one on October 27 between the men in the Freshman dormitories, and the other on November 3, a handicap meet, will in all probability be held. Men interested in the field events are especially urged to come out as there is great need for them, and the fall training is particularly valuable.

Yesterday the cross-country men were taken out for a short run over the river course. Still more men are needed for the team, the coaches declare, if a successful season is to be expected.
