PHILLIPS BROOKS HOUSE TO ENTERTAIN '24 WEDNESDAY

Leaders in Extra Curriculum Activities to Explain Competitions to Freshmen

Besides the Faculty Reception for Freshmen to be held in the Union Tuesday night, 1924 will also be given a reception in the parior of the Phillips Brooks House at 8 o'clock on Wednesday evening.

Besides members of the Faculty, whose names will be announced later, William J. Bingham, 16, and former captain of the University track team, will address the first-year men. P. Hofer '21, president of the Phillips Brooks House Association, will preside.

Freshmen who have not-yet decided what form of undergraduate activity, if any, they wish to go out for will have an opportunity to hear the leaders of the various college activities explain the work of their organizations. A. Horween Occ., captain of the University football team, will speak on Freshman football. The presidents of the Crimson, the Advocate, the Lampoon, the Glee Club and other activities will also address the Freshmen.

A double quartet from the Glee Club will sing and refreshments will be served.
