FELTON IN BOX FOR UNIVERSITY

California, which swamped the University 10-5 a week ago, will play the Crimson on Soldiers Field again this afternoon at 3 o'clock. McHenry, lefthander, will pitch today for the Westerners instead of Ellison, who proved so effective before. And in place of Makin, who played at third before and was injured in a game Monday, Hudson will hold down the third sack, while Anderson will take Hudson's regular position at second. Otherwise the makeup will be unchanged.

Coach Slattery will play the same team except that Perkins will probably replace Hallowell in right field, as the former is more effective against a south-paw. Felton will have another opportunity to face the hard-hitting Westerners.

Yesterday Boston College won from California 6-2, Fitzpatrick allowing the Golden Gate men only two hits. This is in contrast to the game a week ago yesterday when California collected 17 hits off Fitzpatrick.

Beside the Boston College game California has played in the last week contests with Dartmouth, Amherst and Springfield Y. M. C. A. The first two games they won, both by the score or 10-9. But in the game with Springfield. California outdid its record for wild fielding, making 14 errors. The score was 11-2 in favor of Springfield.
