8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
The University second team was snowed under, 8 matches to 1, by the Yale scrubs Saturday afternoon on the indoor courts of the Longwood Cricket Club at Chestnut Hill. All three doubles contests went easily to the Elis, while the Crimson secured only one singles. C. P. Holmes '22 was the only University victor, defeating Minis of Yale in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.
The competition was closer than the total score would seem to indicate, five of the matches drawing out into three sets, and six sets being deuce. Briggs of Yale and Morss of Harvard played the longest and closest match of the afternoon, the Eli finally winning in three deuce sets, 7-5, 8-10, 7-5.
