Phillips Exeter Academy will hold its first annual alumni day today at the academy and all graduates are invited to attend the exercises. The main event of the day is the Exeter-Andover track meet, in which the competition is expected to be unusually close. The activities for the day start at 11 o'clock standard time with the exercises in the chapel, followed by luncheon in the Thompson Gymnasium at noon. The track meet is scheduled for 2.30.
Trains leave the North Station at 10.50 and 12.15 in the morning and one returns at 5.17 in the afternoon, all these trains running on standard eastern time, which is one hour earlier than Massachusetts time.
