NEW HAVEN, CONN., June 2.--Yale defeated Holy Cross in baseball today by a 10-3 margin. Until the lucky seventh inning the game was last and closely contested, but in that frame the Yale batters began to hit Horan, the Holy Cross pitcher, and knocked him out of the box, bringing in six runs, thereby winning the game. He was replaced on the mound by Grill.

Throughout the contest the hitting was liberal and many errors were made, seven being chalked against Yale and two against Holy Cross. In hitting, on the other hand, Yale almost doubled the seven made by Holy Cross by knocking out 13.
