John Farlow Linder Jr. '19, a member of last year's first University crew, will preside at the mass meeting of the Loyal Coalition this evening at 8 o'clock in Brattle Hall. The Coalition, though only three months old, is already a large organization with strong political influence, which it uses to further friendly relations with our Entente Allies, and for the preservation of American traditions and ideals, by carrying on an educational campaign against all hyphenated activity against friendly nations, particularly Great Britain. The meeting tonight is hold to arouse the interest and support of the University. All members of the University and their friends will be welcome, but must obtain tickets of admission, obtainable at the Crimson Building.
The chief speaker of the evening will be Mr. Randolph W. Smith, vice-president of the Loyal Coalition and chairman of its publicity committee, and a well known author, journalist and publicist. Demarest Lloyd '04, president of the Coalition is the second speaker.
