President Emeritus Charles W. Eliot '53 has been appointed as chairman of a committee named by the Plymouth Tercentenary Association to carry on the work of an educational program which has just been drawn up. Among the members of the commission are Nicholas Murray Butler, president of Columbia, and Arthur Twining Hadley, president of Yale, together with the heads of other prominent universities and colleges throughout the country.
