University and 1923 Golfers Lose

Both the University and Freshman golf teams were overwhelmed by Yale yesterday afternoon on the Rhode Island Country Club links at Providence, the two scores being 6-3 and 7-2 respectively. Though playing a stronger game than in any earlier matches the University golfers broke even in the wosomes, each side winning three matches, and Yale captured all thre of the foursomes. This Freshman match was less closely contested, the Blue team outclassing the Crimson in every division of the game.
