The University and Yale wound up their interclass ball series Saturday when the Senior team played the Eli Juniors, the former bowing to the latter 3-1. More frequent and more timely hitting on the part of the Yale champions together with the pitching of Sloane, was responsible for the defeat. S. H. Johnson '20, on the mound for the Seniors, was only slightly less effective, holding the New Haven batters to six hits. The Seniors' low tally was scored by R. G. Ladd.
