NEW ENGLAND HARVARD CLUBS ASSEMBLE HERE FOR GRADUATES' DAY

EXHAUSTIVE DISCUSSION MAIN FEATURE OF DAY

Graduates Day of the New England Federation of Harvard Clubs will be celebrated today in the University. Throughout New England all men who have ever attended the University, regardless of whether they are degree holders, have been invited to the proceedings, which will open at 10 o'clock in the Faculty Boston at University Hall. A committee of over 100 members of the Harvard Clubs has been appointed to assist in the meeting, and in addition to these men, many delegater are expected to be present.

At the morning session President Lowell assisted by officers of the University and members of the Student Council, will describe in detail the social and educational life of the University of today. The discussion, which will be confidential, will begin with the examinations for admission and will then cover: the entrance into College; the Freshman Halls; the physical examinations and compulsory physical exercise for Freshmen; the system of advisers; the social life of the students and their relation to College Officers; the curriculum, its requirements and opportunities; the methods of guidance; and finally, the new general examination for graduation.

Luncheon in Smith Halls.

The meeting will adjourn at 12.30, when luncheon will be served to the delegates the Student Council and the Glee Club in Smith Halls. From 1.15 to 2.40 o'clock the discussion of the morning will be continued in the Common Room of Smith Halls. During the latter part of this time the gathering will be entertained with selections by the Glee Club. Afterwards, guides will be provided and the delegates will inspect the recent improvements about the University.
