Professor Mason to Lecture Tonight

Professor Daniel Gregory Mason '95, of the Department of Music at Columbia University, will give a lecture with pianoforte illustrations on "A Diagnosis of Modern Music" this evening at 8.15 o'clock in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building. This lecture is to be the first of a series of three public lectures arranged by the Departments of Fine Arts, Dramatic Literature and Music on related artistic subjects. The purpose of these lectures is to arouse a abuse of common interest among the students and teachers working in the three departments and to bring them into closer relationship. Professor Mason, the lecturer tonight, is well known for his playing and his speaking ability.
