CRIMSON GOLFERS WHITEWASH AMHERST AT WINCHESTER, 11-0

Lake, Baker, Jones and Peirson Outpoint Opponents by Easy Margin.

An overwhelming victory by the score of 11-0 was credited to the Crimson golf team over Amherst in their first match of the season played at Winchester on Saturday. By the Nassau system, which was used in scoring, all four of the University players led their opponents by comfortable margins. Captain H. S. Lake '20 and D. Jones '22 each won easily eight up and six to go. The only Amherst man to make the semblance of a showing was R. S. Fenno, who forced A. L. Peirson '21 to the fifteenth hole before he won four and three.
