Wentworth Institute went down to defeat, 6-4, before the second University ball team on Soldiers Field yesterday. Liberal hitting marked the game. The Crimson players walloped eight off Relihan, the visiting twirler, including a single and a double by W. J. Banes '22, while C. A. Clark Occ. afforded Wentworth seven hits. Four runs were brought in for the scrubs in the fourth inning by singles by Banes, J. Martin '22, C. J. Mason '22 and E. S. Hobbs '22, and walks given to E. H. Stillman '21 and C. S. Stillman '22.
Banes added two runs one in the fifth and one in the eighth. The sixth frame was big for the visitors, three men scoring on as many hits.
