UNIVERSITY AND '23 GOLFERS MEET WILLIAMS AND BROOKLINE

The University golf match scheduled to be played against Albemarle at the Albemarle Country Club yesterday was cancelled. Today the Crimson team will oppose Williams at Greenfield. The six-man team which represents Williams this year is somewhat below par, being recently overcome by Yale 8-1. During the season it has scored several victories, however, including a 7-2 defeat of Cornell University. The probable players in today's match will be as follows: Harvard--Captain H. S. Lake '20, A. L. Peirson '21, E. B. Duncan '22, G. Henderson '21, D. Jones '22 and J. H. Eaton '22; Williams--Black, Adams, Jones, Sedgwick, Murdock and Simmons.

A match for the Freshman team has been scheduled for 2.30 this afternoon with Brookline High School to be played at the Albemarle Country Club. During the past week the yearling players, particularly S. H. Browne Jr., have shown great improvement in the scores which they have turned in at Oakley, and should have little difficulty in defeating Brookline. The following men will compose the teams: Freshmen--Captain C. C. de Gersdorff, G. G. Folin, D. A. Williams, H. S. Browne Jr. and W. W. Cutler; Brookline--Walsh, Mahan, Lally, Duane and McGrail.
