In their second match of the season the University second tennis team was defeated by the Brookline Tennis Club yesterday at the latter's courts by the score of 4-3. The scrubs won three of the five singles contests played, but lost both of the doubles. The match was close and doubtful until the end. The Longwood seconds are the next adversaries on the schedule the contest coming on Friday.
