NINE OPPOSES BOWDOIN

FACE HOLY CROSS TOMORROW

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Twice postponed, the game with Bowdoin will finally be held on Soldiers Field at 4 this afternoon. It was originally scheduled for April 10, then later for April 27.

Like all the northern teams, Bowdoin has been tremendously handicapped by the late spring and, furthermore, has begun the season with nothing but green material to pick from. Cook, the captain and second baseman, is the only man on today's line-up who played against the University early last spring. The other men have had experience in Maine high and preparatory schools.

Like the rest of the team, Mason, who will most probably start on the mound today, is a green man in collegiate circles. Harrison, whom Coach Slattery usually picks to start a game, is the likely choice for a Crimson moundsman, while Hardell will be held in reserve.

Tomorrow the University will face a team which should not be compared unfavorably with Princeton the Holy Cross nine, which is making a potent bid for the New England Collegiate Title.
