The unbeaten Freshman tennis team yesterday overwhelmed Milton Academy on the latter's courts by the decisive score of 5-0. In only one of the matches played was the result doubtful, that between M. Duane, the yearling captain, and DuBois, the mainstay of the school-boys, Duane winning in three sets, 2-6, 6-2, 6-0. The other four matches were easy two-set victories for the Crimson.
The summary follows:
Singles--Duane defeated DuBois 2-6, 6-2, 6-0; J. D. Farnham defeated Bernis 6-2, 6-3; G. C. Guild defeated Kerrean 6-1, 6-2.
Doubles--Duane and M. Graban defeated Kerrean and DuBois 6-1, 6-2; Farnham and Guild defeated Wildes and Tyler 6-3, 6-2.
