Dartmouth Loses to Crimson Golfers

By winning two out of the three doubles matches the University golf team secured a 5-4 decision over Dartmouth at the Oakley Country Club yesterday after both teams broke even on the singles. C. W. Baker '22 made the best score for the day, a 78, and defeated J. W. Weatherby of Dartmouth, five and four. F. W. Bacon '21 and G. Henderson '21 were also winners for the Crimson three and two, and two and three respectively. In the doubles Baker and Bacon scored over Weatherby and Frost of Dartmouth five and four, and E. B. Duncan '22 and Henderson also won their match by the same score.

At the Southboro Country Club the Freshman team lost an informal match to the St. Mark's Faculty team 13-2, using the Nassan system of scoring. D. A. Williams and G. G. Folin were the only golfers able to secure a point for 1923.
