The University and 1923 crews leave Cambridge tonight for Ithaca where, on Saturday, they will meet the strong Cornell oarsmen who easily defeated the Yale and Princeton eights last Saturday. Since the double defeat at the hands of the Orange and Black, the Crimson eights have been shifted and have shown much improvement.
In addition to the regular crews, two substitutes are being taken for both the University and the yearling eights. For the former R. K. Kane '22 and M. Bradlee '22 are going, and B. W. Huiskamp and J. W. Wood will make the trip as substitutes for the latter.
The seating of the boats is as follows:
University A--Bow, Davis; 2, Lothrop; 3, Appleton; 4, McCagg; 5, Burden; 6, Terry; 7, Damon; stroke, Jenney; coxswain, Peirson.
Freshman A--Bow, Garland; 2, Bradford; 3, Fiske; 4, Self; 6, W. B. Wood; 6, Morgan; 7, Kunhardt; stroke, Ohl; coxswain, Badger.
