CRIMSON LACROSSE TEAM WINS FROM BLUE BY 4-3

Winning Tally Scored in Last Minute of Play by Hirshberg--Game Hotly Contested.

In one of the fastest and roughest games ever played on Soldiers Field; the University lacrosse team defeated Yale on Saturday by the score of 4 to 3. A last minute rally by the Crimson broke the 3-3 deadlock, when E. P. Hirshberg '21 intercepted a pass of an Eli and slammed the winning tally into the goal. A. C. Frenyear '21 and L. Hall '20 were star performers for the Crimson, while Reynolds was the Eli's chief scorer. The work of C. L. Nunneker '22 and E. D. Weatherhead '22 were features of the game.
