British Economist to Speak

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

R. H. Tawney, British economist and author, who has recently served on the Sankey Coal Commission in England, will speak on "The Coal Mine Situation in Great Britain" at 8 o'clock Wednesday, May 19, in Emerson D.

Mr. Tawney comes to the University at the invitation of the Department of Economics, to lecture on a subject about which his recent experience, as well as his training as an economist, makes him peculiarly fitted to speak with authority. In order to give those outside the University an opportunity to hear Mr. Tawney, the lecture is to be open to the public.
