Today the Geological Club of the University will take its annual spring field trip, the goal of which is Cape Ann. The party, composed of the club and all members of the University who are interested, beside a number of Graduate School members of the Geological Faculty, will leave the North Station at 8.17, daylight-saving time, on the Rockport train, and on the return will arrive in Boston at 6.23. At the Cape they will see the granite quarries, collect minerals, and study the raised beaches and other geological phenomena near Gloucester.
