To the Editors of the CRIMSON:--
In your issue of April 6, the Wood Club letter says, in part: "General Wood has never by a single word commented on the action of the administration in keeping him from the front." As one who was in rather close touch with the activities of the General, let me say his speeches, delivered in large part to women's clubs and other non-political organisations, always left the impression of (1) personal mistreatment, by the War Department; (2) vituperative condemnation of the work of the Government; (3) the lack of a single constructive or helpful utterance. HERBERT L. WILLETT, JR., 1G.
