MANY DRAMATIC CANDIDATES OUT

Two Actors to be Retained for Each Part in "The Governor's Wife."

Owing to the unusually large number of candidates who have reported at the two trials held so far for acting aspirants for the Dramatic Club spring play, Benevente's "The Governor's Wife", two men, or women, are being selected for each part until the final trials, on the basis of their reading of the parts they have chosen. Each two actors will learn and practice their roles until next Monday, when the last trials will be held. After these trials, the successful candidates will have until the Monday after vacation. April 26, to learn their parts. Regular rehearsals are to commence immediately thereafter, under the leadership of Mr. J. W. D. Seymour '17, who has coached other Dramatic Club plays in past years, and was prominent in theatricals while in College.
