Preliminary trials for the France-Amerique Medal Debate will be held this evening at 7.30 o'clock in Sever 11. Candidates must be prepared to speak, in French, for five minutes on some subject connected with French civilization. The trials will not be public, but will be held before three judges, Professor Louis J. A. Mercier, Professor E. L. Raiche, and Professor R. L. Hawkins of the French Department. Of those who compete, six will be chosen to speak in the final debate to be held on May 6.
