8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
Manuscripts for the Francis Boott Prize of $100 offered annually to undergraduates and members of the Graduate Schools for the best composition of concerted vocal music must be submitted to Mr. Arthur Feete at 81 Green street before Thursday, April 15. The compositions may be for four or more voices, preferably of contrapuntal character without solos, and either with or without accompaniment. They may be either sacred or secular in style, but if of the former they are expected to follow the type of Mozart or Cherubini.
The title page of each manuscript must be signed with some motto or assumed name which should also be placed on the outside of a sealed envelope containing the real name of the competitor. The prize will be withheld if, in the opinion of the judges, no composition is worthy of it.
