The officers of the class of 1921 have decided to hold the only Junior smoker of the season on Thursday, May 13, at 8 o'clock in the Living Room of the Union. Two feature motion pictures, which the committee, composed of T. H. Mills, J. Cowles, and H. R. Atkinson, is engaged in selecting, will from the chief entertainment of the evening. There will be brief speeches by the officers about class affairs, and organized singing.
At this smoker the amendments to the constitution of the three lower classes, proposed by the Student Council, and already unanimously adopted by the Freshmen, will be voted upon. These amendments deal with the election of class officers, and would make an election valid only if 60 per cent, or more of the members of the class cast their ballots Provision is also made for further balloting until the minimum number of votes is cast, in case of a failure to obtain the 60 per cent, on the first vote. Music will be furnished during the evening, and the usual refreshments served.
