Because of illness in his family, Robert Frost, the president of the New England Poetry Club, will not be able to introduce Siegfried, Sasson when he speaks in the Union on Thursday. In his stead, Robert S. Hillyer '17, President of the Harvard Poetry Club, will introduce the famous English soldier-poet.
Mr. Sassoon is speaking here and reading from his poems at the invitation of the New England and Harvard Poetry Clubs. Through the kindness of these two societies, all members of the Union will have an opportunity to hear Mr. Sassoon read and speak. The reading will be held in the Llying Room of the Union at 8 o'clock on Thursday evening.
