Robert Frost to Introduce Siegfried Sassoon in the Union on April 29th

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Arrangements have been made to have Siegfried Loraine Sassoon, who will speak in the Living Room of the Union on Thursday evening, April 29, at 8 o'clock, introduced by Robert Frost, who is president of the New England Poetry Club. Mr. Frost is now in Franconia, New Hampshire, where he has been spending the winter. He has been in poor health during the winter, but expects to be able to make the trip to Boston on April 28.

Mr. Frost is the author of "The Boy's Will", "North of Boston", and "Mountain Interval" three volumes of poetry which have won for him the reputation of being one of the foremost American poets.

Mr. Sassoon, the young English soldier-poet, who has attracted attention both by the excellence of his later verse and by his expressed beliefs in regard to war, has been invited to speak here (and to read from his own works) by the Harvard and New England Poetry Clubs. The lecture will be open to all members of the Union.
