Scholars Celebrate on May 27

Thursday, May 27 was set as the date of the annual spring party of the University Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, at a meeting of the Society held in the Union yesterday. A theatre party followed by a dinner will take place on that night. The following officers were elected for the occasion: Poet, R. H. Snow '20; Orator, C. W. Carter '20; Latin Odist, P. R. Chandler '21.

It was decided to resume hostilities with Yale on the diamond this spring. Although no date has been set for the struggle, M. T. B. Spaulding '20 was named as captain, manager, and coach of the squad of scholars. Captain Spaulding is a seasoned player, and, with the promising material at his disposal, should develop a championship nine.
