Student Council Votes on Basketball

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The matter of most general interest to be brought before the meeting of the Student Council tonight will be the question of making basketball a minor sport in the University. Besides the Freshman team which played outside schools, interclass and interdepartmental leagues were formed here this year, which were decidedly successful. One of these teams, known as the Hemenway Athletic Club, which won the championship in the College, also played outside colleges and won several victories. A rapid increase in popularity is predicted for basketball in the University if it should be made a minor sport.
