At the regular meeting of Government 1 this morning at 9 o'clock in the New Lecture Hall President Lowell and Professor G. H. Chase, Chairman of the Committee on the Choice of Electives, will address members of the Freshman class on the subject of concentration and distribution, in preparation for their deciding on their courses for next year. The speakers will explain the general purpose of the system, as well as the particular rules for the choice of college studies. Typical programs in the different fields will be described, and their value, both at the present time and in later life will be discussed. All Freshmen who have no other College engagement at that hour are required to attend this meeting, from which upperclassmen taking the course are excused.
